At TARA, your safety is our top priority. Since TARA connects you with local physical shops, here is some essential advice on how to stay safe while discovering deals and redeeming coupons.
Verify the Shop in Person
TARA does not process payments for items. Always visit the physical shop, inspect the item thoroughly, and complete your purchase directly with the seller in their store.
Never give out financial information
Since payments happen in-store, TARA sellers will never need to ask you for bank account details, card numbers, or online payments beforehand. Be wary of shops asking for deposits before you arrive.
Use common sense
If an ad poster or coupon offers an unrealistically low price, proceed with caution. Ensure the shop's physical location matches what is listed in the app.
Fake information requests
TARA will never send emails or WhatsApp messages requesting your password, bank details, or personal verification documents outside of our official apps. Do not open suspicious links.
Delivery Scams
TARA focuses on in-store purchases and QR coupons. Sellers requesting online payment for "delivery" are operating outside our standard use case. We strongly recommend completing transactions in person.
If you suspect a shop has posted fraudulent ads or you've experienced issues redeeming a valid QR coupon at their location, please report the situation to us immediately by emailing khaztara@gmail.com.
